Ciara Honey (she/her) is a young, aspiring filmmaker based in Kent whose creative background lies in painting. Film as a medium has always intrigued Ciara, and she’s been excited to work on her short film Top & Tail with the Short Cut Film Fund, which is inspired by her experiences as an LGBTQ teen and explores the complexities of a homoromantic friendship between two girls, capturing the awkward tension of unspoken emotions in a bedroom setting.

She was mentored by Margo Roe to make her short film, Top & Tail, for the Young Film Network South East, which you can watch below!
